Step 1: How many tapes have you got? We then convert them into a digital format. The tape could be short or it could be long but we choose to make all the tape conversion cost the same. Then once converted we go to…
Step 2: How would you like to watch them? We always recommend having the converted videos made for you to download them so you can watch them on your phone, laptop, PC or TV, you can share them easily and it is the safest and cheapest way. If you would like to watch them on a DVD player we can produce them into a DVD disk. If you would like to watch them on a laptop we can produce them into a USB stick. But please be aware that USBs and DVD disks can fail and with downloads you really need to put them on the cloud but we can show you how.
Step 3: When would you like them? Our general turn around if one to two weeks, if you need it quickly you can use our FAST TRACK two day service which is double the total cost.
If the tapes are snapped in a cassette we can fix the tape correctly so it can be converted. If the tape shows mould in it we need to clean the mould from the tape before we convert it as this can ruin our machines. Please be aware that you could lose small sections of the tape if we fix the tape. If you haven’t told us about the issue or were not aware of it we’ll tell you that the tape needs to be fixed before we carry on. The cost of these fixes starts from £25 per tape.
If the tape we convert doesn’t show what you think it should show we cannot be held to account for this as we have done what you have told us to do but if you ask us to check we can check the tape and pay for the checking service for £5 a tape.
